Molly Ringwald’s Post Baby Diet of Veggies/Protein

by Betsy on Celebs on March 10, 2010

Molly Ringwald, 1980s starlet and actress on the hit show The Secret Life of the American Teenager, debuted a sexy post baby body in a stunning purple gown at the Oscar’s over the weekend. The 42-year-old strutted across the stage and her X-Generation fans couldn’t have been prouder. Eight months ago she gave birth to twins and she’s already back to her pre-baby shape. When asked how she did it she responded,

“I try to make sure that I eat something green. I think that’s just really a good rule of thumb.”

She goes on to say that she loves all kinds of vegetables but thinks the green ones are the best for a proper diet. It was six weeks after the birth of her children that she made the commitment to get in shape but she approached it in moderation and got regular exercise. Her sensible diet included,

“….cutting down on sweets and upping the vegetables and protein, less starch, and I just worked out a lot, I’d say about three or four times a week.”

Celeb Diet Doc Says…
Upping the greens/veggies is one of the best diet strategies to help lose the post baby weight.
