No, I am not going to delete your post... I welcome opposing viewpoints.

And No I absolutely do not think it's absurd that the President's children go to public school. In fact I feel very strongly that every President should have their children attend public school! Otherwise all their talk of "change" is just a marketing gimmick.

All children are entitled to a healthy school lunch! Sorry but that's where we are going to disagree... and it has nothing to do with being lazy (this is a ridiculous assertion)

I agree with Mark... It's absurd to think that the children of the President would attend public school.

Another option that mark failed to point out however is that if you are so unsatisfied with your school's lunches, why don't you MAKE your own child's lunch? To say it is the schools fault that obesity is a widespread issue is ignorant and just trying to pass the blame. It is the parents responsibility to instill healthy eating habits into their own children. The main cause of obesity in this country is LAZINESS. It is easier to eat McDonald's and KFC than it is to cook a healthy meal. It is also easier to send your kids to school with money and then proceed to complain about the quality of the meals rather than just make your kid a sandwich and cut up some fruit.

Stop being lazy and fix your own problems.

Your a fool, lets be honest here. You'll likely delete this, but stop and think for a moment. Do you really think its possible for those two girls to attend public school in D.C.? I'd like to see that work considering the hatered and biggotry in our country towards the president, this does not even call in to question the SCORES of agents abroad that would love to have those little girls out in the open, as next to the President himself they are prime targets.

So they attend private school, and private school has a better lunch menu, that being said this is the reason it costs money. It is rediculous for us to not only expect him to place his daughters in harms way over lunches, but also to dictate to private companies how they run their business (Coincidentally I would be willing to bet that these are the same people saying he pries to much in to our business and hes a socialist).

And if your so concerned about your school how about this, get off your ass and volunteer to help at the school, donate time or money which ever you are comfortable with towards making that school better, your childern go there, you have just as much responsability as the State, and more than the president.

That being said, you are also likely the same people that hold "Tea Parties" and cry Tyrant when your taxes are raised for things like school lunch.

The issue goes beyond lunch, everyone wants it there way, but your all too lazy to get up and fix it, instead you point fingers and fix nothing.

I'm so tired of my children being served leftovers especially pizza for breakfast on Wednesday mornings. For the 1st 2 days of school my children had NO breakfast served. WHY cannot it be "old school" as it was when I was in school, and the tray was handed to us was is is the one we got?

They Feel the need to let the children as young as Kindergarten fill their own trays. Are children that age resposible to make good food desisions? NO! Mine are not. Make them a tray.'

I do not think that elementary school children are capable of making good food choices. They eat what tastes good and what they like.

Just my opnion non the less. i just want the very best for my children. Not leftovers.
