The Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has a stunning post-baby figure. She gave birth to her youngest daughter in May of 2009 and just six months later she’s doing a modeling campaign for La Senza lingerie. (see photo above) The 38-year-old claims that she didn’t follow a strict diet and nor was she a workout fanatic at the gym, instead she gave the old ‘high metabolism’ monologue that many celebrities like to tout. She told Heat Magazine that she keeps herself busy and never sits down to relax,

She also mentioned that she currently doesn’t go to a gym but she hopes to start soon. She will however do yoga and go swimming. Daly will soon be launching her own skincare product called, Daly Body.

Reebok EasyTone – The Exercise Shoe?
I’m sure everyone’s seen the commercial for the new Reebok Women’s EasyTone Rush SF Walking Shoe (above), but are the promises Reebok make reasonable? Likened to the FitFlop and NGR shoes, it is being claimed that EasyTones work and tone your muscles as you walk.
The balance pod system creates a “natural” instability when you walk, technically throwing your step off balance. Your leg and butt muscles then have to work extra hard to compensate for this movement, engaging your muscles more. Reebok have run tests that apparently verify the EasyTone works your butt 28% more and your hamstrings and calves 11% more than other sneakers. But do these kinds of exercise shoes really work?

French Women DO Get Fat

Remember that book, French Women Don’t Get Fat, written by Mireille Guilano in 2004, in which she rambled on and on as to how the fairer sex in France maintain their svelte figures even though the country’s national foods are pastries, cheese and wine? Well it seems French Women DO get fat.
According to a study by TNS Sofres Healthcare and pharmaceuticals company Roche, 26% of the women in France are classified as clinically overweight and 15.1% obese. The research, which was published this week, also noted that the male population has put on weight as well: 38.5% are overweight and 13.9% are obese.

Elizabeth Hurley’s Diet Drink of Choice?

Supermodel and actress Elizabeth Hurley is 44 years of age. She’s still ultra glamorous and that’s because she has learned to change her diet and eating habits as she has gotten older. She did admit that her eating habits have changed now that she’s over 40, but she recently revealed that her drinking habits have changed too. To keep her midriff trim she has switched from wine to vodka. She explained,
“I used to drink and awful lot of coffee, but I was told after the age of 40 you have to be careful with coffee and wine. Apparently that can be one of the reasons older women get bloated around their stomach.”
