After losing 20 pounds on the Jenny Craig diet, Queen Latifah has joined other celebrities like Valerie Bertinelli and Kirstie Alley by signing on as a spokesperson for one of the most successful celebrity diets. The 39-year-old rapper, actress and singer once weighed 240 pounds, and says losing the weight was not about being skinny for her; it was more about getting healthier.
While Queen Latifah hits the gym five to seven days a week (using the treadmill and elliptical machine) she still eats what she normally eats, just in smaller portions.
“I haven’t had to sacrifice anything that I normally eat, I just eat a little bit less of it,” she told The National Enquirer.

Food delivery plans are gaining popularity and they will all work if you follow them. Jenny Craig, while the most heavily marketed by paid celeb endorsers, has been criticized for its processed food ingredients and taste. I am also not a fan of processed food bars to lose weight as they will lead to weight gain if you don’t practice strict portion control.
