Rachel Nichols stars as Shana O’Hara in the summer hit adventure film G.I. Joe. Last month we learned how one of her co-stars Sienna Miller got fit for her role in the film but now we see a different take on things as Rachel GAINED weight for the role. She told Self Magazine that she gained 15 pounds of muscle while preparing for the role. The actress exercised with her trainer (also Jennifer Garner’s trainer) three times a week. But that’s not even half of it, she also does pilates twice a week, throws in some tennis lessons and also does pole dancing on the two remaining days.
Her shocking weekly workout regime did the trick because she looks great and doesn’t look bulky with the added 15 pounds of muscle which just proves that muscle weighs more than fat.
