Robin Quivers’ 80 Pound Weight Loss on Vegan Diet

by Alice on November 11, 2010

The radio star, Robin Quivers, has managed to lose an amazing 80 pounds after she started following a vegan diet.  The 58-year-old now says she feels rejuvenated, especially after running the New York City Marathon.

Quivers has made some drastic changes to her lifestyle and eating habits. Howards Stern’s radio co-host reveals that a couple of years ago she had trouble walking even a few blocks, and now she’s had the courage to run a 26 miles marathon.

“I wasn’t well,” she admitted. “I just wanted to feel better. I had no idea that once I found out what was making me feel better, it would actually rejuvenate me and rejuvenate my life.”

Her success is mainly because of her new vegan diet and regular exercising. Quivers says that now, aside from the impressive weight loss, she also has a lot more energy going.

“My life totally changed, and now I have this amazing amount of energy,” she said. “Changing my body has given me the ability to do all these amazing things that I never in a million years imagined I could do.”

She has found out the secret to losing weight and keeping her body in shape, and says that this won’t be the last marathon she runs. Quivers is determined to stick to her vegan regime and exercise to maintain her current weight and live a healthier life.
