Spanx For Men: Ript Fusion

by Megan on February 21, 2010

Women have always had the luxury of ingeniously hiding their love handles and sucking in the little imperfections of their thighs. No guys have an opportunity to shave inches off their stomachs – the new RIPT FUSION Firm Control Shapewear promises men an instant six-pack.

The T-shirt that has been quoted as “a T-shirt on steroids”; it even comes with instructions on how to put it on and take it off. Made from two different materials, the T-shirt consists of three zones. The top and bottom are cotton, while the middle layer is an elastic, synthetic material designed to compress your stomach.

The form-hugging RIPT FUSION Firm Control T-Shirt won’t budge once you’ve put it on, and you can wear it under dress shirts, suits and even other T-shirts. There are claims that it may even improve your posture. One thing though, because it’s so form-hugging you’re constantly reminded that you’re wearing it, which may be the actual reason for you sucking in your gut, and not so much because of the T-shirt’s design.

“Compacting the abdomen and back creates a flatter silhouette under clothes, and the support offers other significant benefits, such as better posture and a greater sense of security,” the website says. “Using a patent pending design and dual fabric technology, the mid panel sucks in the belly and creates core consciousness while the chest and sweep of the shirt are a lightweight, soft cotton perfect for wearing under all types of clothes.”
