Biggest Losers Use BodyBugg

The contestants on one of TV’s biggest reality shows, The Biggest Loser, keep track of their weight-loss by calculating how many calories they’ve consumed and how many they’ve worked off with the bodybugg.
The GoWear fit Lifestyle and Calorie Management System tracks how many calories you’ve used during your day or workout by recording your core body temperature, the fluctuation of this temperature, the amount of steps you take, your overall amount of physical activity, your sweat rate and your axis of motion. The device tracks how many calories you’ve consumed by means of an online food diary – you need to enter the food you eat. Once you’ve downloaded the various data to your computer from the little black box, the software will then calculate your total calorie expenditure.

Tara Costa Blogs for Biggest Loser

Tara Costa won the Biggest Loser reality series in season seven after dropping 150 pounds. She still looks phenomenal, she’s been training hard for the New York City marathon and now she has a new gig as the weekly blogger for the new season of the Biggest Loser. Costa is excited for the new contestants as she remembers what it felt like to get off the airplane and live in a reality series world over those months on the show. She wrote,
“I am sure that some (if not all) of the contestants will feel the same way I did. When you get the final notice that you are indeed going to L.A. to meet with producers, casting directors and executives, you feel like you have been given a second chance, that things will be better this time around and that you will truly make the changes your life so badly needs.”

Biggest Loser Interactive Video Game

The Biggest Loser franchise is getting bigger each season. DVDs, books, equipment and now an interactive video game that actually sounds really impressive. Last week Biggest Loser unveiled the The Biggest Loser video game in NYC where past contestants and the media got to try it out.
Basically, the user chooses a 4, 8 or 12 week fitness program. He/she first enters data such as name, age, weight, height, and weight loss goal. Keep in mind that the game was designed by The Biggest Loser doctors and nutritionists so if you’re wanting to lose 100 pounds in 12 weeks, it’s just not going to happen because that isn’t healthy nor is it a long term fix.

Biggest Loser Tara Costa Trains for Marathon

Tara Costa, the Biggest Loser winner from season 7 is still in tip-top shape and she now plans to train for the New York City Marathon that will take place on November 1st. Recently, she told People Magazine what she has done since leaving the reality series to maintain her weight. As for her workout routine she explained,
“At first I was very skeptical of allowing myself to go out with friends on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I knew that on Saturday mornings I would be doing my long jog with my workout buddies and I didn’t want to jeopardize feeling sluggish. I make choices now — some days my workouts are far more intense than the average and others are just an hour of a fun activity with friends.”
