Bob Harper Pushes Alison Sweeney To The Limit

Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser, recently had a run-in with one of the show’s super trainers, literally. On The Bonnie Hunt show, the reality TV host told how during one of her gym sessions she met Bob Harper, who is notoriously known for pushing contestants further than they thought they could.

“I was about to start crying,” Alison said on the show. “I was running so hard, and I was like ‘I’m short, I’ve got short legs!’ He had me at a 10 elevation, at level 10, running 10 miles per hour for over 10 seconds.”

Alison later admitted that Bob pushing her did actually help her. Now she knows how far she can push herself the next time she’s on the treadmill.

Biggest Loser Interactive Video Game

The Biggest Loser franchise is getting bigger each season.  DVDs, books, equipment and now an interactive video game that actually sounds really impressive.  Last week Biggest Loser unveiled the The Biggest Loser video game in NYC where past contestants and the media got to try it out.

Basically, the user chooses a 4, 8 or 12 week fitness program.  He/she first enters data such as name, age, weight, height, and weight loss goal.  Keep in mind that the game was designed by The Biggest Loser doctors and nutritionists so if you’re wanting to lose 100 pounds in 12 weeks, it’s just not going to happen because that isn’t healthy nor is it a long term fix.

Bob Harper’s Exercise DVD

The 2009 season of Biggest Loser ended this week and it appears that Bob Harper, one of the show’s fitness trainers was already working on a different project as he released an exercise DVD while the show was airing.  We’ve seen him motivate contestants along the way and help them achieve their fitness goals but now he is giving some of those secrets to the rest of us.
