It looks as if embattled pop star, Amy Winehouse, is on her way to her idea of the perfect body. The 26-year-old singer who has had a colorful history with substance abuse is packing on the pounds to achieve a “pin-up” figure.
The sober and clear-headed Amy has recently had breast implants, to give her a perkier chest after her addiction to alcohol and drugs ate away at her body. But now Amy wants to add curves to the rest of her body to go with her new assets, and is eating at least 3 000 calories a day. [Read more →]

Taylor Lautner: Diet – 3,200 Calories A Day
Taylor Lautner, the hunk-a hunk-a burnin’ love from the Twilight series is a different person since he began his work on the movies a couple of years ago. Over the past year we have chronicled his weight gain and habits such as his workout and milkshake diet. At a press conference in Beverly Hills last Friday she revealed a bit more about his new physique and the challenges he has when it comes to maintaining it. Not only does he workout at the gym five times a week but he also has to maintain a 3,200-calorie a day diet. He said,
“Everybody thinks it was the actual getting in the gym, that was easy. But the eating was pretty hard…Putting something in your mouth every two hours. And I’m busy. I’m downtown L.A going from meeting to meeting, so there’s no time for me to be eating.”

Veronica Webb: Diet and Exercise
Supermodel and actress Veronica Webb is now 44 years of age, but that didn’t stop her from training for the New York City Marathon in only 12 weeks. She decided to run at the last minute in order to raise money for an AIDS service provider, Harlem United. Before training for the marathon she was still doing a lot of physical activity and exercising. She told Self Magazine what her normal workout entails,
“I love kettlebells, yoga and Capoeira.” [Brazilian martial arts]

Michaela Conlin plays the role of Angela in the hit series, Bones. She recently spoke with Self Magazine about some of her health and beauty secrets. As for her skin, she thanks her Irish and Chinese background but when it comes to her body she has to watch what she eats and she sweats just like the rest of us. Michaela is practically an exercise queen, she likes to do yoga, dance classes, weight training and she works out with celebrity trainer, Juliette Kaska. She has even recently started taking karate classes too.

The breakout actress from Love Simple, Patrizia Hernandez is promising to be one brilliant actress. She recently chatted with Self Magazine about her healthy eating habits in order to stay Hollywood fit. As for her workout routine she does a mix of yoga, cardio and strength training. She did admit that while filming she isn’t able to exercise that much but when she has the time, she goes full force. Her favorite exercise is yoga at Yoga To The People, a no-fee studio that only takes donations. She also said that she’ll never do the same workout in a row. She explained,
“For example, I do a lot of cardio, but I’m not in love with it. When I do actually have a running day, I can go through it with full force and actually make it count because I know I’ll have a break before my next full-on cardio session.”

The beautiful Abigail Spencer is one of the stars from the cast of the popular AMC show, Mad Men. In the current issue of OK! Magazine she gives some effective yet simple diet and exercise tips. She defines herself as a minimalist when it comes to her beauty philosophy and in order to look good on the outside, you’ve got to start with the inside. She explained,
“You can’t just focus it all on the outside. Start with making sure you don’t eat too much junk food, that you’re sleeping and that you’re drinking enough water.”

Alicia Silverstone: The Kind Diet

After months of anticipation Alicia Silverstone has finally launched her new book, The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet. She’s already heavy on the media circuit this week having spoken with various newspapers and she appeared on The View to promote her vegan-friendly book.
While at the launch party in NYC she told New York Magazine,
