<p>Amanda Seyfried is all the talk in Hollywood these days. After her knock out performance alongside <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/meryl-streep-weight-gain/">Meryl Streep</a> in <em>Mama Mia</em> she has worked with <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/megan-foxs-vinegar-diet-weight-loss/">Megan Fox</a> in <em>Jennifer&#8217;s Body</em> and now she has her own starring role in the upcoming movie, <em>Chloe</em>. Unfortunately, her fame has come at a price as she feels a lot of pressure to be thin in Hollywood and she unwillingly follows a raw foods diet in order to keep her slim shape. She said,<span id="more-9435"></span></p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s intense. And sort of awful,&#8221; she tells Esquire magazine. &#8220;Yesterday for lunch? Spinach. Just Spinach. Spinach and some seeds.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>In previous interviews she has admitted that if she didn&#8217;t run and workout there is no way she would have such an enviably slim figure and she wouldn&#8217;t get the roles she has been offered in Hollywood. She explains,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It’s f***ed up and it’s twisted, but I wouldn’t get the roles otherwise. If I’d been a bit bigger, I don’t think they would have cast me for Mamma Mia!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Amanda looked great while on the red carpet last week, (see photo above) but it&#8217;s sad to think that she is so unhappy with dieting and exercising but she feels it&#8217;s something she has to do in order to get work.</p>
<p>The 24-year-old is currently promoting her newest film with <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/channing-tatum-packs-on-the-protein/">Channing Tatum</a> called, <em>Dear John</em>.</p>

Now American Idol winner Rubben Studdard has joined the ranks of the green eaters, and he’s lost 100 pounds in the process!<span id="more-9410"></span></p>
<p>Rubben appeared on <em>The Wendy Williams Show</em> recently and explained how he first started small by going vegetarian 18 months ago and then going full vegan 12 months later. Although he’s never really had a problem with the way he looked or felt, when he turned 28 the Big Teddy Bear as he’s affectionately known decided that he wanted to change his look completely.</p>
<p>For Wendy’s audience, Rubben explained what vegan cooking and a vegan diet is, as well as how he learned to cook vegan meals because he didn’t want to make himself crazy depriving himself and eating the same old boring meals. The soul singer has even found a few great vegan soul food restaurants in the South. He even bragged about his vegan mac and cheese and greens recipes.</p>
<p>Rubben also works out three days a week with a personal trainer for about 90 minutes.</p>

<p>The former Beverley Hills 90210 actress persuade her husband, Twilight actor Peter Facinelli, to turn parts of their Hollywood property into a vegetable garden partly because she missed being able to grow her own fruits and vegetables – Jennie grew up on a farm.</p>
<blockquote><p>“We have lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sugar snap peas, and strawberries. The girls love getting dirty and picking vegetables they want to grow every year and watering them and growing them. I let them help me cook them, which puts a different perspective on it,” she says. “I’m not just serving the food to them and forcing them to eat it. They really are invested and they care about what they’re eating. Kids like the vegetables when they’re raw, actually, and they can dip them into ranch dressing or chocolate; I don’t care as long as they’re eating their vegetables!”</p></blockquote>

<p>I always enjoy reading about ridiculous fad diets inspired by celebrities. <p>The biggest and probably only rule of the diet is to eat nothing except water and salt soup. You can, however, do everything else like buying groceries and preparing the food. Setting the table and serving the food. You can even hold it up to your mouth as if you were about to eat it, but then put it back down and not eat it. (Ridiculous hey?!)</p>
<p>Apparently the diet has been around for quite some time, but was made famous by Dolce &amp; Gabbana. According to the Institute for Psychoactive Research in England, the goal is to breathe more by setting aside time every day for concentrated, rhythmical, deep breathing.</p>
<blockquote><p>“Eventually, the effect will spread over the rest of the day, even when the technique is not being consciously performed, and you will be able to breath deeper. Without any change in the rest of your diet or exercise regimen, you will slowly start to lose weight.”</p></blockquote>

<p>Having previously lived off cheeseburgers, mac and cheese, and pizza, Ginnifer didn’t think she’d be able to give up cheese, but she’s not only proved herself wrong, she’s also turned two of her parents vegan after they’ve seen the positive and healthy effects it’s had on her. The <em>Big Love</em> and <em>He’s Just Not That Into You</em> actress says she’s enjoying her food so much more now on her plant-based diet because her taste buds are “awake”.</p>
<p>Ginnifer owes part of her decision to turn vegan to learning more about factory farming and its cruel practices.</p>

Just because Julianne looks great on the outside doesn&#8217;t mean that all these refined carb products are not ravaging her body on the inside (think heart disease, accelerated aging, adult onset diabetes).</p>
