Kimberley Locke Wants to Lose Weight

kimberley-locke-wants-to-lose-weightSandra Bullock always looks amazing.  Her positive energy is evident in her films and in the interviews with televisions and magazines.  Her newest movie, The Proposal, which came out this summer has been a hit, and let’s not forget to mention that apart from her great acting in the film she looks great as well.  In InStyle magazine, Sandra was asked how often she cheats on her diets, she replied,
“I start Friday night and I end Saturday night. But it is not so regimented. I’ll make lists of what I want to eat this week or next week. I was in the store Marfa and they had this dark chocolate with bacon in it so I’ve gotta try that! I eat really well because I can afford to. Like last night I had brown rice and black beans and some steamed vegetables so today I’m going to have all kinds of good stuff! I love sweets, like Viennese pastry, raw cookie dough, or a nice bowl of Lucky Charms with milk that I eat in bed watching SNL. That’s heaven right there!”
She also revealed a bit of her workout routine and admitted that looking good is part of the package when being a celebrity.
“People ask, ‘How do actresses do it?’ Um, they pay us to do this in order to look good on film. I do Pilates, kickboxing, weight training. When I’m in Austin, I run or ride a bike. If I can work out every day, I will. But there are times when I won’t do anything for two weeks, and I’m, like, you know what? I talk enough to burn calories.”

Ross Mathews, “the Intern” of Late Night with Jay Leno fame and most recently a celebrity participant of Celebrity Fit Club, has lost his “baby fat”! In fact, he has lost a remarkable 50 lbs or “half a Nicole Richie” as he put it in People Magazine. In college he was 230 lbs and although he managed to lose 16 lbs by “eating a bag of baked Lays as opposed to a bag of Cheetos,” he didn’t address the real issue which was “why do you have an entire bag of anything?” His motivation for joining Celebrity Fit Club and losing weight stemmed from the recent passing of his father. “It made me take inventory of my life. It was now or never.” [Read more →]

Kimberley Locke set to become Jenny Craig’s new spokeswoman?

kimberley_interview_2.jpg

Kimberley Locke, of American Idol and Celebrity Fit Club fame, is reportedly going to be the new pitch woman for Jenny Craig, joining fellow celebs Kristie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli. She has apparently already lost 30 lbs on the diet plan and plans on losing another 10 before formally announcing her gig with Jenny Craig.

Seems that Jenny Craig is taking a different marketing approach with Kimberley than with its other celebrity endorsers. Their marketing strategy in the past has been to hire the celeb first and have them lose the weight on the diet. Why the change? Perhaps it’s an insurance policy for Jenny Craig? If she loses the weight great. If she doesn’t, Jenny can opt out and the story gets buried.

Tiffany’s Celebrity Fit Club Diet Secrets

tiffany1.jpg

Tiffany, whose “I think we’re alone now” made her a teen idol, reveals to In Touch magazine her weight loss struggles and how she recently lost over 25 lbs on Celebrity Fit Club. She’s had her share of yo-yo dieting. “I shot my metabolism with crazy diets and pills. I lost so much weight going through my divorce (1997) that I got down to a size 0.” After a spread in Playboy in 2002, she began to gain weight. “I made a lot of bad choices, like eating after shows or waiting till I was so hungry I ate too much and rolled out of the chair. I relied a lot on caffeine to pick up my energy and ate Taco Bell because it was affordable and easy.” [Read more →]
