Teri Hatcher’s Daily Workout

The Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher is 45 years old and she’s the picture of perfect health. She’s on the cover of the current issue of Prevention Magazine and inside she talks about her training for the Malibu Triathlon that she completed in 2 hours and 11 minutes as well as her regular workouts. She told Prevention Magazine,

“I wasn’t panicked about [turning 45] – it just seemed like a milestone. The older you get, the more you become aware of the things you can’t change and the things you can change.”

Scott Herman: Workout for 2010

Looking to get in shape in the New Year? Scott Herman from MTV’s The Real World: Brooklyn may be able to help. On his YouTube fitness channel, he’s begun a “Be a 10 in 2010” video series.

In his latest video he’s put together routines that will challenger your core, stability and endurance with a 34-minute military workout. Each exercise needs to be performed for 1 minute without a break in between, then rest for 2 minutes and repeat 2 more times.

As the holidays are soon approaching Borges has teamed up with JCPenny to offer a total-body circuit routine to keep that body in shape while feasting on pumpkin pie and cookies at those office holiday parties. He offers five simple exercises that only take five minutes where only your own body weight is to be used and not any supplemental weights. In addition, each exercise should be done for one minute only before you move on to the next one so be sure to keep a stopwatch handy.

Eve’s Whip It Workout

Hip-hop artist Eve skates her way through Drew Barrymore’s debut film, Whip It, a story about a women’s roller derby team.  She recently spoke with Women’s Health Magazine about how she prepared for the physically demanding role and how she keeps herself fit.  Eve explained that the actors went through a three-week skate camp to get roller-ready and she also worked out with a personal trainer like she normally does when she’s on the road touring.  She compared her relationship with her trainer as to the intimate relationship a woman has with her hairdresser. She prefers strength training to weight training.  She explained,

“We don’t do a lot of weights, but we do a lot of push-ups, crunches, and squats — exercises that let me use my own body weight. We work out in a private gym, but we’re about to start incorporating outdoor things into my routine. I can’t wait, because I love being outside.”

Robert Daltrey: Exercise

robert-daltrey-exercise Robert Daltrey is 65 years old, but the lead singer of The Who has no plans on retiring. He is in great shape and still gets his doses of exercise by performing at concerts. He and Pete Townsend are the last two remaining members of the band and Daltrey still gets on stage and delivers his physically-demanding performances just as he did back in the 70s. When asked about his exercise regime he responded,

“I’m pretty lazy. I used to run and I used to do a few light weights. But what made me fit was the stage shows.”
