Cheryl Burke’s Exercise Inspiration

Dancing with the Stars hottie, Cheryl Burke, recently told People Magazine that she gets her inspiration to stay in shape from her equally hot boyfriend and model, Maxwell Zagorski.  She referred to him as a ‘health freak’ and by the looks of those pecs and abs in the photo above he’s obviously an exercise freak too.  Cheryl said,
“He loves to go to the gym and he motivates me, so it’s a good relationship we have!”
Cheryl and Maxwell do both weight training and cardio approximately five to six times a week and Burke said that it’s her boyfriend who has helped her lengthen her muscles by regulating the number or repitions she does when weight lifting.  She said,
“He’s a great influence in my life and vice versa.”
Other exercising celebrities from Dancing with the Stars include Brooke Burke, Kelly Monaco and Kimberly Locke.

Cheryl Burke: Workout

The two-time champ of Dancing with the Stars, Cheryl Burke is in great shape.  Sure, she had a moment with the tabloids this year when they said she had gained weight, but overall she is in great shape.  She’s got a dancer’s body and even if she does gain or lose five pounds here and there does it really matter?  This month, Cheryl gave SELF magazine the scoop on her workout regimen during the off-season of the show.  According to SELF,
“….she runs 3 1/2 miles a day, six days a week, and follows up with 40 minutes of strength training using her own body weight. Girl loves to sweat! Her only foible? She admitted that she never stretches.”
Cheryl also has some fitness business ventures in the works.  She has been working on her own brand of fitness clothes for dance and exercise; Fit Couture.  In addition, she has signed on as the new spokesperson for Jazzercise.  Yes, the company who made revealing leotards and leggings famous in the early ’80s is still around.  Let’s hope that Cheryl can ‘jazz up’ Jazzercise and get them back into popular fitness training

Cheryl Burke Weight Loss

Last fall, Cheryl Burke from Dancing with the Stars was the target of blogs and tabloids because she had put on some weight and looked quite curvaceous.  But from the looks of the photo above that was taken in St. Lucia, she has her dancer’s body back.  The 25-year-old told People Magazine,

“I gained a few pounds and everybody was talking about it last year,” the two-time Dancing champ says. “But taking it off was simply a matter of doing a bit more cardio to supplement my dancing. I’m also making sure I eat clean foods and healthy snacks.”

Cheryl Burke’s Weight Gain

The two-time Emmy nominated professional dancer, Cheryl Burke, works her magic on the dance floor in the hit reality show Dancing with the Stars.  As of late, she has fallen under a lot of scrutiny because of her weight gain during the current season of the show.  Cheryl recently opened up to TV Guide in an interview where she explained why she’s looking rather plump these days; she blames it on having stopped taking birth control pills:

“I decided over the summer to stop taking birth control pills. I did it thinking that I was going to lose more weight for the season.  But it actually did the opposite. It made me gain weight.”
