The Cookie Diet Doctor vs Kim Kardashian.. The Diet Wars

The feud between Kim Kardashian and the cookie diet guru Dr. Siegal continues to brew. Just last week Kim was threatening to sue the doctor because her name is on his website implying that she follows the 6-cookie-a-day diet. There are other stars who eat Dr. Siegal’s cookies such as Jennifer Hudson, Mandy Moore and even Tiger Woods’ mistress, Jamie Jungers. Now that the Kardashians are promoting their Quick Trim product, Kim is on an all out offensive to set the cookie straight. She tweeted:

Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet is falsely promoting that I’m on this diet. NOT TRUE! I would never do this unhealthy diet! I do QuickTrim!

Of all of the diet trends and fads that the celebrities follow, this one has got to be the silliest of them all.  Recently on E! News, there are snippets about various celebrities partaking in  Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet.  This diet was once only available to Dr. Siegal’s private patients but it seems that he wants a piece of the fitness pie (cookie?) and is now revealing his secret to the world.

Dr. Siegal claims you can eat six cookies a day plus a sensible dinner of 300 to 800 calories and you will lose weight!  The ‘magic’ cookies can be used as a healthy snack or as an appetite suppressant.  Each daily bag contains six cookies at 90 calories each. [Read more →]
