Tiffany, whose “I think we’re alone now” made her a teen idol, reveals to In Touch magazine her weight loss struggles and how she recently lost over 25 lbs on Celebrity Fit Club. She’s had her share of yo-yo dieting. “I shot my metabolism with crazy diets and pills. I lost so much weight going through my divorce (1997) that I got down to a size 0.” After a spread in Playboy in 2002, she began to gain weight. “I made a lot of bad choices, like eating after shows or waiting till I was so hungry I ate too much and rolled out of the chair. I relied a lot on caffeine to pick up my energy and ate Taco Bell because it was affordable and easy.”

Tiffany’s Celebrity Fit Club Diet Plan
On Celebrity Fit Club Tiffany lost more than 25lbs by following the Fat Smash Diet. “I make healthier choices. Today I got up at 5:30 am and had a banana, a handful of almonds that I keep in my car and then scrambled eggs. Before I’d skip breakfast or gone to McDonald’s.”

Her diet for weight loss
Breakfast- A banana with and a bowl of plain Quaker Oats with lemon butter

Lunch-Asparagus with broiled red snapper with lemon only.

Dinner-Asparagus with broiled red snapper with lemon only.

Snacks-Raw almonds without salt, grapes, bananas and apples

No refined carbs including white bread, sugar and pasta.

Her diet for maintenance
Breakfast-Veggie omelet (no cheese)

Lunch-A vegetable salad with olive oil, lemon and balsamic vinegar.

Dinner-Fish or chicken with Mrs. Dash marinade, broccoli, eggplant and brown rice.

Snacks-Raw almonds without salt, grapes, bananas and apples and low fat graham crackers.

Tiffany’s Exercise Plan
After Celebrity Fit Club, Tiffany continues to be active engaging in roller blading, Pilate’s, ballet, hiking and jumping rope. She is religious about getting her 30 minutes of cardio in each day. “I literally put the treadmill in the living room so I can do the laundry and go to the gym. No excuses.”

Her keys to her successful weight loss
Tiffany is proof the quick fixes and crash diets don’t work in the long term. She admits to having “shot her metabolism” only to see the weight come back. Her keys to success:

No late night eating

Small meals and snacks throughout the day to keep her metabolism up and her hunger in check

Eating breakfast

Saying NO to junk food

Regular exercise.

I wish her much success as it looks like she has made lasting, healthy lifestyle changes in her dieting and exercise.
