Gemma Arterton, most known for her role as the Bond Girl opposite Daniel Craig is almost unrecognizable these days. Once bone thin and sveltely Bond Girl-like, the actress is now a healthy size 10 and she knows how to flaunt her curves. Over the weekend she attended the premiere of her new movie, The Disappearance of Alice Creed and while on the red carpet it was evident she has no plans to lose her shapely hourglass figure.

“I refuse to conform to this muscly, sinewy look that so many actresses seem to think is attractive. I hate it and I don’t think it’s very feminine.”

In early 2009 the actress was criticized for having a double chin. But she is adamant about her decision of nonconformity and she’s happy with being a size 10. She explained,

“I dress like a woman and wear a lot of couture because it’s made for real women with curves. I’m a size ten, which I don’t think is big.”

Evidently Gemma has made the right decision because since gaining the weight she scored a role in the aforementioned current movie and she’ll be staring in a new movie version of Wuthering Heights and also in the upcoming St Trinian’s 2.
