<p>As probably the fittest celebrity in Hollywood, actress <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/tag/jessica-biel">Jessica Biel</a> not only climbed Mount Kilimanjaro recently, but she was also named the “Best Abs” in <em>Us</em> magazine. You too can get her rock-hard six-pack with these exercises she does regularly. Ramona Braganza, from Gold’s Gym who also trained Jessica for her role in <em>The A-Team</em>, says the 28-year-old is in the gym four days a week for at least an hour doing various moves.<span id="more-9229"></span></p>
<p>The first exercise Jessica does 10 reps twice of are back extensions on a stability ball. Standing with your back to a wall, then lie forward on the ball, your legs straightened behind you, your soles flat against the wall and your arms extended. On an inhale, raise your torso and legs, hold it for a second or two and lower back down.</p>
<p>The second exercise is pushups. After a set of three on your toes, hold the plank position for five seconds, and then do another set – but you’ve got to keep your abs contracted.</p>
<p>The third exercise is two sets of 10 side-lying planks, which work your oblique muscles. Lie on your side on the floor with your feet stretched. Prop yourself on your right elbow at first and as you exhale, lift your hips off the floor. Hold for a short time, then lower back to the start. Don’t forget to switch sides afterwards.</p>
<p>Braganza says Jessica likes to cook, so she often prepares her own meals which almost always include vegetables and grains like quinoa and kasha.</p>

The 27-year-old, who has been known to train for 5 hours a day when preparing for a new role, has joined the Live-In Fitness Enterprise program in California.</p>
<p><span id="more-4091"></span>L.I.F.E. is a live-in fitness retreat that not only specializes in boot camps but also focuses on clients&#8217; emotional and psychological issues with food and nutrition. Biel, however, only stayed for an hour at the Marina Del Rey gym, but promised she&#8217;d be back for more. In an interview with <em>Life and Style</em> magazine, she said the workout and the gym&#8217;s owner and trainer Eric Viskovicz definitely put her through her paces.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I put my clients through the gantlet — it&#8217;s what I&#8217;d put a professional athlete through,&#8221; Viskovicz said. &#8220;Compared to the rest of the celebrities, I&#8217;d give Jessica an A.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Biel&#8217;s one-hour workout included hand-bike work, medicine-ball training, leg lifts and kettle-bell lifts.</p>
<p>Viskovicz, who has been a trainer for almost 18 years, launched L.I.F.E. in 1997 and explains more about his philosophy and his demanding routines in the video below.</p>

<blockquote><p>“These hurt,” says Walsh of stair jumping. “Even athletes hate them. After Jessica did these the first time, she would’ve punched me if she had the energy.”</p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-2228"></span>Jessica will also do some weight training with light weights, the seated russian twist and shoulder/bicep work.  As or Jessica&#8217;s healthy diet, it too is picture perfect, just like her workout.  In the mornings she will have oatmeal or whole wheat toast with almond butter and for dinner she will have fish, veggies and rice.  When it comes to snacks she enjoys fresh fruit and allows herself some dark chocolate from time to time.</p>

Alternate one minute of cardio with another two exercises; repeat three times.  Alternate one minute of cardio with last two exercises; repeat three times.  Beginners use 5 &#8211; 10 pound weights; veterans, 15-20 pounds 18 minutes.<br />
<strong>Intense Cardio:</strong> Alternate one minute of high speed (3.5 to 5 mph on a treadmill) at moderate resistance (an incline of 3 -5) with one minute of low speed (2.5 mph) at low resistance (incline of 1 or 2).  Repeat set three times.  Six minutes.<br />
<strong>Cool down:</strong>  Low speed walk. one minute</p>
<p><em>Tuesday and Thursday</em><br />
Same as above, but substitute strength training moves:  Squat jumps, pushups, sit-ups, wide-grip lat pull downs, side bridges, side bridges and crunches on the fitness ball.</p>
