The British supermodel Kate Moss has been criticized for one of her favorite mottos that she shared in a recent interview with the fashion website WWD. The straightforward interview was simply revealing Kate’s fashion sense and views on celebrity but when asked what’s her favorite motto she replied,

“There are loads. There’s ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.’ That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works.”

Well, the poor girl stuck her foot in her mouth because that motto had previously been adopted by pro-anorexia websites. Therefore, eating disorder nonprofit groups are in a rage saying that Kate is promoting anorexia. To credit Kate, it was originally a quote from a dieting club and it wasn’t until later that the pro-anorexia sites got their hands on it. The eating disorder charity Beat says that since the supermodel is a role model and many young girls look up to her it could be harmful to someone’s health. Susan Ringwood, Beat’s chief executive said,

“So for her to even inadvertently legitimize something that could be potentially so harmful is regrettable.”

Surely if we wait a few days Kate will most likely issue an apologize stating she doesn’t endorse anorexia nor any other eating disorder.

Kate Moss, the 35-year-old supermodel wasn’t looking so super when this photo was taken of her last week while on holiday in St Tropez.  Apart from this shot there were numerous photos of her drinking, smoking, sunbathing and obviously reeking havoc on her skin.  According to the sources at the Daily Mail, Kate was so appalled by her own photos that she’s ready to start a new health plan in order to look younger and get back her youthful complexion.  The source said,

“She is now eating three regular healthy meals a day. For breakfast she will have a poached egg on a slice of wholemeal toast, grilled chicken with vegetables and a salad for lunch and wholemeal pasta with fish for dinner. She is also drinking two litres of water a day.”

The insider went on to say that Kate is limiting her alcohol consumption to the weekends and only when she goes out.  In addition she is cutting back on the number of cigarettes she smokes each day.

All said in done, the supermodel is 35 and she has a long history of alcohol, smoking and also had a stint with drugs. It’s clear her lifestyle is taking a tool on her looks. “You are what you eat” even for a former supermodel.

Kate Moss, the normally bone-thin supermodel, has the media talking as of late because of her recent weight gain. Some were speculating pregnancy and others thought she had breast augmentation and the rumors were starting to soar in Hollywood. But over the weekend, Kate Moss decided to set the record straight in her interview with New York magazine. She told the magazine,

“I’ve just grown breasts, I’m a woman now, it’s true.”

Fortunate for Kate her recent weight gain has gone to all the right places and she now has a healthier glow. Still far from voluptuous, she does have a few more curves and still looks like a supermodel. Ironically enough, her first ever lingerie line with Topshop is about to be released and she now has the body to fill out the garments that make up her lingerie collection. She stated,

“I’ve got a clear idea of what I want for lingerie. I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle … Great timing for my lingerie collection.”
