<p>As it nears one year since E! reality star <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinson-breakfast-smoothie-recipe/">Kendra Wilkinson</a>-Baskett had her baby boy she is working even harder to lose the pounds she gained during pregnancy. The star says she has been working out at least once everyday,  sometimes twice.  She also maintains a nearly <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/victoria-secrets-angel-goes-low-carb/">carb free diet</a>.  However, Kendra says there is one food type she does miss.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I am crazy into Mexican food.  I can live on Mexican food every day!&#8221; she says.</p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-11823"></span>She credits her husband, Hank, as being the reason behind all her hard work and not the fact that she is on a television show.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s all because of Hank.  He&#8217;s the one I am doing it for.  It&#8217;s not even for me being on the cover of magazines or on a TV show.  I want my body back for Hank!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Kendra and Hank recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary and Kendra was so excited about her <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/katy-perry’s-diet-her-new-path-to-weight-loss/">weight loss</a> that she &#8220;put on a hot, sexy outfit for him&#8221; and thought, &#8220;Damn, look at this!&#8221;</p>

<p>Hollander’s wife had three C-sections, so he is able to understand what is happening with her body, as Kendra confessed.</p>

<p>Former Playboy Bunny and reality star <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinson-breakfast-smoothie-recipe/">Kendra Wilkinson</a> has managed to drop the majority of her baby weight after giving birth to her first child in December. She has already given dozens of interviews about her <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinson-post-baby-meal-plan/">post baby meal plan</a>, and <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinson-post-baby-exercise-plan/">post baby exercise plan</a> and the list goes on. But now she&#8217;s finally got some new news as she plans to release an exercise DVD to be sold in the spring called, <em>Taking it Off with Kendra</em>. She will star in the video alongside her trainer Nicky Hollander.<span id="more-10263"></span></p>
<p>In one of their recent workout sessions they did a series of squats, core exercises, ab work and kick boxing.While Kendra was dancing around and eating up the attention from the film crew she broke into song and sang her own version of Olivia Newton John&#8217;s,<em> Let&#8217;s Get Physical</em>. She sang,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Let&#8217;s get physical, physical, I wanna hear your booty clap.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Kendra has worked hard to drop the 50 pregnancy pounds. Before pregnancy the 5-foot-4 reality star weighed 113 pounds and as of March she said she was down to 140 so she still has a ways to go.</p>

The photo above was taken just last weekend and she looks phenomenal. No longer skin and bones she looks like a mother should look.  While hosting a party last weekend at Wet Republic in Las Vegas she said she has no plans to go back to her original body shape. She explained,<span id="more-9711"></span></p>

In a recent <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/get-fit-twitter-tips/">Twitter</a> message she confessed,<span id="more-9516"></span></p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I hate anything that says lowfat!!!! ewwwwwww!!  I love fat so much!!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>She also mentioned that she will pace the kitchen floor for over an hour and purposely look for something unhealthy. She laughs it all off but it&#8217;s obvious that she&#8217;s having a hard time adjusting to her new curves that all women get after having their first child. In a previous interview she referred to her new body as &#8216;culture shock&#8217; because she used to be so fit. She explained,</p>

<p>Kendra is over-exaggerating, she&#8217;s got a great body. Perhaps she&#8217;s just trying to get some attention as she doesn&#8217;t want to be forgotten in the reality TV world and she&#8217;s trying to draw out her temporary star status for another year or two.</p>

<p>Former Playboy playmate and <em>Girls Next Door </em><a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/tag/kendra-wilkinson/">Kendra Wilkinson</a> has been dealing with the <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinsons-depressed-by-post-baby-weight/">baby blues</a> lately. In one of her latest episodes on her reality TV show <em>Kendra</em>, she turns to a sauna suit her brother bought her for Christmas, which is suppose to help her lose weight by sweating.<span id="more-9407"></span></p>
<p>The snippet above is pretty funny when she models the suit for her husband and football player Hank Baskett, who first looks at her shocked and then rattles off an expletive.</p>
<blockquote><p>“Do you realize that in a month I haven’t shed one f**king pound?” Kendra says visibly upset in the video, clutching her stomach. “What the hell is this?”</p></blockquote>
<p>Her poor husband is sweet about the whole incident trying to support her, but it’s refreshing to see the real side to baby weight. Photoshop doesn’t exist in the real world and all those celebrity moms who dramatically lose all their post-partum pounds three months after giving birth after truly supernatural.</p>
<p>A few weeks ago Kendra appeared on the cover of <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinsons-diet-tips/"><em>Ok</em></a> magazine, heavily (and completely unrealistically) Photoshopped, but let’s hope she’s sticking to her <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/kendra-wilkinson-post-baby-exercise-plan/">post-baby workout plan</a>.</p>

She gave birth in December and has since lost 20 pounds but she still has approximately 30 more to go to get back to her desired weight.</p>
<p>In the interview she was sure to drop plenty of name brands when it comes to her eating habits including Lucky Charms, Special K, Honey Nut Cheerios, Nature Valley Nut Clusters, Applebee&#8217;s and even McDonald&#8217;s. The majority of those foods aren&#8217;t the best for you as they are either loaded with fat and preservatives but she did have one yummy smoothie recipe containing Special K cereal (just a tablespoon&#8217;s worth) that she shared with readers.<span id="more-8063"></span></p>
<p><em>Special K-Endra Smoothie</em><br />
4 large strawberries<br />
Half a cup of skim milk or Greek yogurt<br />
1 ripe banana<br />
5 ice cubes<br />
1 tbsp. Special-K cereal</p>
<p>In a blender combine it all until it&#8217;s yummy smooth.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what Kendra had to say about her treat,</p>

Smoothies are a great way to lose weight when taken as a meal replacement. My recommendations for her smoothies are to get rid of the cereals and replace the milk with water. A healthier alternative is to add ground flax to boost the fiber content as well as the Omega-3 content. Also the banana adds a nice creamy consistency so you won&#8217;t miss the milk at all.<br />

But now she&#8217;s able to do some floor exercises and stretching and the naturally athletic reality star is ready to burn off the almost 50 pounds she gained while pregnant. When asked how often she&#8217;ll work out during the week she responded,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;When I get back to L.A. I&#8217;m all about hiking, biking, and just going outside and having fun. I&#8217;m more of a two-days-per-week gym person. I can&#8217;t do more than that. I get really bored.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>She has already lost 20 of the pounds she gained while pregnant and with plenty of walking, hiking and floor exercises she can already see that her booty is getting &#8216;juicier.&#8217; Her trainer, Jesse Brune told <em>Ok</em> magazine what the two of them do while working out together.<span id="more-8059"></span></p>
<p><strong>Kendra&#8217;s Post-Baby Exercise Plan</strong></p>
<p><em>Getting Started</em><br />
Do low-impact cardio such as walking on a treadmill at an incline of 7 and a speed of 2.7 for 45 minutes. Swimming is another alternative.</p>
<p><em>Upper Body</em><br />
Do the following three circuits on the pull down machine:<br />
1. Face away from the machine and keep back and abs straight as you pull down behind your head and then return to start position.<br />
2. Face the machine and with a wide grip lean back at an angle and pull bar down to chest. Return to start. (Check with a gym trainer about this one. Some may disagree with Jesse Brune)<br />
3. Face the machine. Reverse your grip so that your palms are facing you and pull bar down to your chest. Return to start.</p>
<p><em>Legs</em><br />
Do two sets of 20 of the following four exercises:<br />
1. First-position squats (feet together at the heels, toes turned out, just like a ballerina)<br />
2. Second-position squats (feet shoulder width apart with heels turned in and toes turned out)<br />
3. Traditional squats<br />
4. Traditional lunges</p>
<p><em>Abs</em><br />
Lie on your back on an incline and bring knees to chest. Then extend legs out in front of you at a a 45-degree angle. Do two to three sets of 10.</p>

Since she&#8217;s breast feeding she still has to have plenty of calories so she&#8217;ll start the day with cereal and a banana and then a few hours later will have another piece of fruit or some Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters.  For lunch she&#8217;ll have a salad and sometimes splurge by eating a fried chicken salad. As for dinner she said,<span id="more-8052"></span></p>

A vegetarian pizza on a whole wheat English muffin with light tomato sauce and light cheese or an iron-rich spinach salad.</p>
<p><em>Dinner</em><br />
A turkey burger topped with lettuce and tomato and some baked sweet potato fries or the vegetarian option is whole wheat spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and fresh parmesan.</p>
<p><em>Snack</em><br />
A serving of pistachios (40 kernels) or strawberries with fresh whipped cream.</p>
