Kristy Swanson is most remembered for her days as Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Three years ago, while filming Fox’s Skating with Celebrities, she met her husband, Lloyd Eisler. The two were recently married, but before their union, Kristy wanted to lose the 45 pounds she gained while pregnant. Following in the footsteps of Jenny Craig signing up celebs Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli, Medifast has recently signed up Genie Francis to be their spokesperson. Genie Francis is best known for her 1970’s role as Laura on the daytime soap General Hospital; “Luke and Laura” for those of you old enough to remember:) Now 45, her goal weight loss target is 30 lbs, and we’ll get a peak at her progress when she walks down the red carpet at the Day Time Emmy Awards, June 15th.
