<p>Last week supermodel <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/miranda-kerr-gives-food-and-diet-tips/">Miranda Kerr</a> was in the middle of a &#8217;skinny&#8217; debate after paparazzi photos of her from a photoshoot in Sydney circulated the globe.  The 26-year-old blames it on the &#8216;exaggerated pose&#8217; while shooting and she told <em>Who Magazine</em> that she has been the same weight for years.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;The irony is that I&#8217;ve been the same weight for three years&#8230;. That&#8217;s not what I&#8217;m about, I&#8217;m about feeding your body the right nutrients and also not depriving yourself, and I&#8217;ve always said that.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-5940"></span>Kerr has repeatedly said she follows an organic diet and practices <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/miranda-kerr-practices-hatha-yoga/">hatha yoga</a> but still allows herself indulgences such as chocolate and french fries.  She went on to say that a few years ago her grandmother told her she was too thin.  But after they spent the day together and grandma saw how much she could eat she actually told Miranda,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Sweetheart, one day you&#8217;re going to wake up and it&#8217;s going to be all over your hips &#8211; I don&#8217;t know where you store it, in your big toe?&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Kerr claims that people who know her know that she can eat a lot.  She just happens to have a high metabolism.</p>

At only 26 years of age she&#8217;s had an incredible modeling career in both Australia and New York, she&#8217;s dating Hollywood A-lister Orlando Bloom and she somehow manages to be one of the most grounded girls in the fashion business.  Kerr credits her inner calm to yoga and meditation but what makes it more interesting is that several years ago at a very young age she became a devotee of Nichiren Buddishm.  <span id="more-5849"></span>Since then, she&#8217;s developed a passion for organic foods, has studied hatha yoga for more than 10 years and she even studied health and nutrition for 18 months at the <em>Academy of Natural Living</em> in Cairns, Australia. Kerr said,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Yoga is so important to me. I’ve been doing it for a long time now and I’ve taken it to a fairly serious level. Through yoga, I became interested in meditation and positive affirmations. My favourite is: &#8216;I am a vibrant being of love and light.&#8217; How beautiful is that?&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Amazing how a supermodel can be so deep but in this latest interview she proves to know nutrition, yoga and inner peace.  She has even been working on a book over the past few years, <em>Treasure Yourself</em>, which is a motivational self-help book to encourage young women and girls to respect their own beauty and feel confident in themselves.</p>
