Ashlee Simpson Loses Baby Weight

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz revealed her smoking new body at the MTV Australia Awards after having dropped the 25 pounds of baby weight she gained while pregnant.  Her trainer, Ramona Braganza, told Ok Magazine that she did a lot of kickboxing and circuit training.  She said,

“Depending on how quickly you progress I move it along.  With Ashlee I think by January we were pretty much in my second phase of it, and doing really well. Then, I added some kickboxing in, and we did stairs in the house. Some different ways of doing cardio so it wasn’t boring in the gym everyday.”

Alison Sweeney’s Post Baby Workout

Host of The Biggest Loser, the adorable Alison Sweeney has been getting back into shape after the birth of her now two-month-old daughter, Megan Hope.  She already looks top-notch just after two months.  How did she do it? According to People Magazine Alison has been working out with the EA Sports Active, it’s a customizable fitness program for the Nintendo Wii.  Here’s what Alison had to say about the program,

“It pushes me, and it’s creative for me….It really is like a personal trainer in a box.”

Jaime Pressly: Post-Baby Workout

Jaime Pressly, the actress from My Name is Earl graces the cover of Shape Magazine this March and she looks fantastic!  Even better, she topped Shape’s annual list of Sexiest Bodies in Hollywood.  How did she gain that title after giving birth to her son? Well, the now 31-year-old decided to give herself a 30th birthday present by making a commitment to get fit and tone up the abs. She said,

“I’ve always exercised really hard, I’m into the no pain, no gain thing!”  She later added, ”Lately I love my stomach.  After growing a human being inside me, there is nothing more incredible or sexy!”

Milla Jovovich: 5-Factor Diet

In 2004, Forbes Magazine named Milla Jovovich as the ‘Richest Supermodel of the World.’  However in 2007 Milla stepped out of the limelight to have a baby and she’s just now getting back into the Hollywood lifestyle.  Why haven’t we heard from her for over a year?  She admitted that it has taken all of this time to drop the 70 pounds she gained while pregnant.  Milla said she lost the weight with,

“Diet and lots of exercise, I worked my big, little butt off,” adding “It’s been a lot of work and I’ve been working with Harley Pasternak and his 5-Factor program, they actually have diet food sent to my house. At one point I just ate oatmeal, salmon, and artichokes every day for a week. It was definitely a lot easier putting it on!”

Maxine Bahns: A Fit Pregnancy

Maxine Bahns is an up and coming star on the CBS drama The Mentalist where she plays Simon Baker’s wife.  She is due to have her first baby any day now and she told People Magazine that she is very excited about the occasion.  And she should be.  Maxine is actually an accomplished tri-athlete but during her pregnancy she practiced prenatal yoga five times a week.  During her interview, the magazine asked how she plans to get back in to tip-top shape after the birth of her baby.   [Read more →]

Tori Spelling Feels The Hollywood Heat

Tori Spelling admits that living in the Hollywood spotlight can be stressful when it comes to body image and she often feels pressured to be thin in order to keep up with the Hollywood standard idea of beautiful. 

“You’re out there; your picture is in every magazine. They’re looking at you from every angle, no matter what you do. You have to be careful getting out of cars now because they shoot up your skirt. Everything has to look good, and of course, there’s pressure to do so. I definitely feel it.”

Tori now has two children, Stella who is one year old, and the youngest Liam, is only at 23 months. She claims that her now very thin post-pregnancy figure is contributed to being with her family. [Read more →]

Baby Spice Lost Her Baby Fat

Emma Burton, better known as Baby Spice from the 1990s girl-power pop sensation, The Spice Girls, has successfully lost the weight she gained while pregnant with her son, Beau. “I put on a normal amount when I was pregnant with Beau, but it took me a year to get back to the weight I’d been before he was born” It did take her a year to drop all of those extra pounds but she decided to not rush things and let her body slim down the natural way. Baby Spice claims that healthy weight loss is all about balance.

“I did it very naturally and slowly,” she says. “I went to the gym two or three times a week and ate healthily. I breastfed, so you can’t go on stupid strict diets.”
