<p>And Adriana is right, boxing is a great workout.  A 130 pound person can burn 708 calories in one hour if boxing in a ring and 354 calories an hour if boxing with a punching bag. Strap on the those boxing gloves!</p>

<p>Supermodel Elle Macpherson is 45-years-old, still looking fabulous and ready to talk about how she battled her addictions.  In 2003 she spent some time in rehab as she was burning the candle at both ends, but that has all changed and she is dedicated to leading a healthy lifestyle for herself and also for her two children.  When asked what is the most difficult thing she has had to do to stay healthy she said it&#8217;s staying off cigarettes and alcohol.  She said,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don’t smoke, I don’t drink and I don’t take drugs – not even aspirin.  But that wasn’t always the case.  I was a normal kind of Australian chick – excessive. I used to smoke 20 cigarettes a day, so giving that up was definitely the most challenging thing for me.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-2408"></span>When asked how she keeps her trim body, especially now that she doesn&#8217;t have cigarettes (appetite suppressants) and alcohol (food replacement) she admitted she does a lot to stay in shape.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It’s 80 per cent genetics and 20 per cent hard work. There’s no hard work at the moment because I haven’t been training. I have an athletic body, but as I’ve gotten older I need to do more to maintain my shape. I’m not as wiry as I used to be – I need to work on toning my legs and my stomach. Even now, aged 45, I do lots of sports. I ski for six hours a day when I’m in the mountains, and at the beach I water ski and surf twice a day.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>Obviously, Kathy, now at the age of 46, has gotten back on track and she looks just as good as ever. <blockquote><p>“I&#8217;m a pig&#8230;&#8230;Oh my God, I’m obsessed! It takes up 75 per cent of my brain. I cook every day for my son and even if I’m going out for dinner, I’ll have a bite of what I made for him and then be like, ‘Oh, there’s three hours left until dinner’, and, suddenly, I’ve eaten a whole bowl.”</p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-1826"></span>If 75% of her brain is focusing on food, then that remaining 25% is all about the exercise.  How else could she stay so trim?  Here&#8217;s what she says about her age and working out:</p>
<blockquote><p>“Age in itself doesn’t freak me out. I’m in better shape than I was at 25 because I’m actually doing something physical, which I never did until two years ago because I was way too lazy. I’m still really lazy about it. I try to go boxing twice a week and I run, but after exactly 21 minutes, I’m ready to lie down and vomit. I’m super-lucky with my metabolism. I eat more than anyone I know, so I have to be realistic – that might not always be the situation. That’s why I chose really intense training. It was a question of, if I want to continue eating that much, I need to balance it out.”</p></blockquote>

<p>In 2004, <em>Forbes</em> Magazine named Milla Jovovich as the &#8216;Richest Supermodel of the World.&#8217;  However in 2007 Milla stepped out of the limelight to have a baby and she&#8217;s just now getting back into the Hollywood lifestyle.  Why haven&#8217;t we heard from her for over a year?  She admitted that it has taken all of this time to drop the 70 pounds she gained while pregnant.  Milla said she lost the weight with,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Diet and lots of exercise, I worked my big, little butt off,&#8221; adding &#8220;It’s been a lot of work and I’ve been working with Harley Pasternak and his <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/5-factor-diet-review/">5-Factor</a> program, they actually have diet food sent to my house. At one point I just ate oatmeal, salmon, and artichokes every day for a week. It was definitely a lot easier putting it on!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-1419"></span>Considering it took her over a year to lose the weight, she obviously approached post-pregnancy weight loss with a clear mind and didn&#8217;t try an extreme weight loss plan like so many other women do in Hollywood.  When asked about having more children, Mila responded,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I do want another baby but not for a little bit.  I’ve only just lost all the weight so I want to enjoy my old body for a while before I have to become a crazy alien again.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>This week, Milla attended a gala in Hollywood for the unveiling of celebrity portraits (see photo above) that will be auctioned off to support UNICEF, an organization that supports literacy and education around the globe.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We’ve seen how this body-conscious glamour model is very concerned about appearance as one day she has botoxed lips and then another day she’s either gained or lost a breast size over night.<span> </span>It’s sad how an international celebrity will go through various medical procedures to look the look, and then stress about bulking when preparing for a marathon.<span> </span>Honestly, how many so-called bulky marathon participants do we see running the streets?<span> </span>Not that many.<span> </span>Jordan should allow herself this physical challenge and forget about outward appearances and instead focusing on the inner strength needed to successfully finish a 26-mile long marathon.</p>
