Kristin Cavallari’s Diet Secrets

Reality star from the Hills, Kristin Cavallari spoke with US Magazine about her daily diet habits while attending the Alice+Olivia fashion show in NYC this week.  Her high protein diet consists of a good amount of fish, in particular salmon, and she also eats a lot of veggies.  She said,

“I’ll usually have eggs and fruit for breakfast and I try to do a salad with chicken for lunch. I try to eat really healthy.”

Lo Bosworth Helps Children In Need with Jumpstart


MTV’s The Hills, Lo Bosworth is teaming up with Jumpstart’s Read for the Record© campaign. Read for the Record will kick off on October 8, 2009, on NBC’s TODAY show in Rockefeller Center with Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Mary-Louise Parker and Eric Carle.

Stephanie Pratt Confesses She’s Bulimic

The media has been buzzing this week as Stephanie Pratt is on the cover of Us Weekly Magazine and claims that starring on The Hills reality show caused her to become bulimic.  For the first time she opens up about hating her body, self-inducing vomiting and struggling with the pressures of being on the hit MTV reality show.
The 23-year-old said she began bingeing and purging in 2007 (when she first joined the show) after she watched a scene that she filmed with co-star Lauren Conrad.  She said,
“I was horrified. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.’”
She also spoke about the pressures that other costars unknowingly put on her.  She mentioned a time while filming in Hawaii and she wasn’t sure whether to wear a cover-up over her bikini, so she asked costar Audrina Partridge,
“What looks better, ’shirt on or off?’” Patridge said ‘On.’” Says Pratt, “The producers never put pressure on us to lose weight,” but adds, “It’s embarrassing working with skinny girls.”
Pratt is now on the road to recovery.  However, one has to wonder why someone with bulimia would voluntarily pose on the cover of a national magazine in her bikini.

Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth on Exercise

The two best friends of The Hills, Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth recently told PopSugar about their diet and exercise habits as roommates.  They are both in picture-perfect shape so obviously they are doing something right.  Firstly, they said that they housemates are all supporters of organic foods and they try to incorporate that into their daily diet, especially since they like to cook at home.  However, when it comes to exercise they have two very different opinions.  They recently went to a spin class together and Lauren said,
“and I hate it. I prefer boxing or hiking, more fun activities.”
Lo Bosworth on the other hand enjoyed herself.  She responded,
“I love it though. I think it’s just important to keep it varied so you don’t hit a plateau.”
Spinning can be a lot of hard work, it’s a real shock to the system.  However, boxing and hiking are also two great physical activities, it may just take a bit longer to get results if you’re trying to lose weight quickly.

Lauren Conrad Does Body Box Workout

The Hills reality star, Lauren Conrad has shown us over the past year how working out really does pay off.  She always looks healthy and confident and she maintains a good body weight.  Here recently, her trainer Jarret Del Bene told In Touch Weekly Magazine that Lauren is not only doing her traditional kickboxing routine, but now she also does Body Box.
