<p>As the <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/victorias-secret-angel-boot-camp/">Victoria&#8217;s Secret Angels</a> are getting ready for the big annual fashion show, <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/heidi-klum-post-pregnancy-diet/">Heidi Klum</a> is also getting her body back into shape even though she is officially not walking the catwalk.  She has announced that she will be hosting the event instead but all the same she wants to look her best. The 36-year-old gave birth in early October and as can be seen in the photo above she&#8217;s already looking in tip-top shape.  She did however tell <em>US Magazine</em> that being in her late 30s and getting back into shape has been different in comparison to her pregnancy when she was 31 years of age. <span id="more-6643"></span>When asked how she&#8217;s losing the weight she responded,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t exercise too much &#8212; I walk.  I walk on the treadmill a little bit.  I walk on the driveway.  I&#8217;m very active with the children&#8230;&#8230;But you know when you breast feed, when you eat right, you move around a little bit, that usually does the job.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Klum did admit that she hopes to lose 20 more pounds and she has a trainer that goes to her house and they do work on the medicine ball.  When it comes to eating, Heidi isn&#8217;t one to munch on salads and chicken but she allows herself tasty foods like goulash, schnitzel and spaghetti bolognese.</p>

Heidi will need to change her diet if she wants to get back to model form. Exercise alone will not do the trick. The Goulash is great for weight loss, but she needs to say wiedersehen to the schnitzel and spaghetti.</p>

Becoming an Angel is what shot <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/miranda-kerr-gives-food-and-diet-tips/">Miranda Kerr</a> to international superstardom just a couple of years ago and now these new girls have high hopes of becoming the next <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/karolina-kurkova-on-weight-and-body-image/">Karolina Kurkova</a> or <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/adriana-limas-diet/">Adriana Lima</a>.  Working out should be a breeze considering their penthouse has four pools on the rooftop as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center with indoor pool.  <span id="more-6569"></span>But their latest challenge was a big surprise when celebrity trainer <a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/david-kirsch’s-holiday-season-workout/">David Kirsch</a> put them to the test.  One contestant named Alicia even said,</p>

<p>Kirsch first gave each girl some tips on where they could improve their body in certain targeted areas.  He wasn&#8217;t suggesting to lose weight but to firm up what&#8217;s already there.  They did both strength and cardio training including work like frog jumps, push-ups and weight training. It was also interesting something he said about the<a href="http://www.celebritydietdoctor.com/supermodel-bikini-workouts/#more-3130"> supermodel</a> body-type.</p>

<p>The highly anticipated <em>Victoria&#8217;s Secret Fashion Show</em> will be on CBS on December 1st.</p>

Just a good workout – a good sweat – is always good. It really makes a difference when you have a good sweat. Your whole face changes. You get pinky cheeks, you just feel better, stronger and sexier because everything is strong and tight. It’s important.”</p></blockquote>
<p>Lastly, Karolina explained that looking good is all about feeling good.</p>
<blockquote><p>“Be true to yourself,” Karolina says. “Be realistic about what you love and what you feel comfortable in, because when you’re not comfortable in what you wear, you’re not going to look amazing because you don’t feel amazing. People can sense that. People can feel that you don’t feel good in what you’re wearing – if you feel awkward – that doesn’t make you feel good. Definitely be comfortable in what you wear, be confident in what you wear, and be true to yourself – don’t try to look like somebody else because you’re special, you’re yourself, and you have your own little style. Everyone should have a little style.”</p></blockquote>

<p><span id="more-2625"></span>In the interview Marisa explained the importance of eating before working out in order to have the energy to have high-power workouts.  Before a workout she&#8217;ll have oatmeal with banana or a protein shake made with almond or soy milk.  She also likes to eat yogurt with organic fruit and she&#8217;ll keep fiber bars handy for when she&#8217;s out and about and gets a little hungry.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I prefer healthy food and try not to bring too many treats into my house. But I don&#8217;t believe in depriving myself either,&#8221; says Marisa. &#8220;When I go to the movies, I have a sugary soda, not a diet one. And if I want a burger, I&#8217;ll have a burger. I just make it a point not to eat one five days in a row.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Marisa is very straight forward about the hard work and dedication involved in order to stay fit.  And it&#8217;s nice to hear that these supermodels have to work at it and that Marisa is honest about her sacrifices.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;But a lot of people believe that because I&#8217;m curvy—and blonde—I&#8217;ve had a boob job or some other kind of plastic surgery, which isn&#8217;t true. I&#8217;m 100 percent natural, but I have to work hard to stay in shape. There&#8217;s no magic pill. Believe me, if there was, I&#8217;d know about it.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>And Adriana is right, boxing is a great workout.  A 130 pound person can burn 708 calories in one hour if boxing in a ring and 354 calories an hour if boxing with a punching bag. Strap on the those boxing gloves!</p>
