Taylor Lautner: Diet – 3,200 Calories A Day

taylor-lautner-3200-calories-a-day Taylor Lautner, the hunk-a hunk-a burnin’ love from the Twilight series is a different person since he began his work on the movies a couple of years ago. Over the past year we have chronicled his weight gain and habits such as his workout and milkshake diet. At a press conference in Beverly Hills last Friday she revealed a bit more about his new physique and the challenges he has when it comes to maintaining it. Not only does he workout at the gym five times a week but he also has to maintain a 3,200-calorie a day diet. He said,

“Everybody thinks it was the actual getting in the gym, that was easy. But the eating was pretty hard…Putting something in your mouth every two hours. And I’m busy. I’m downtown L.A going from meeting to meeting, so there’s no time for me to be eating.”

Because Taylor was so busy he had to carry foods with him in a bag that he could eat through out the day. He ate protein-rich foods like beef patties, raw almonds and sweet potatoes. He also made it very clear that he wasn’t walking around eating ice cream all the time.

Well, you can’t feel too sorry for the guy; he’s now an international celebrity and making loads of money, so 3,200 calories a day is a small sacrifice.

He only hate 3,200 calories. That's really easy to pull. I thought he was pulling in at least 5,000.

I guess it all depends on the person.

Taylor's 3,200 calorie intake is only a snack to Michael Phelps who has a 10,000-12,000 calorie intake LOL

no way he ate 10,000 a day. that is a total myth. the amount of food he would have to eat would be insane. a good protein shake will give you around 400-500 cals. He would have to drink like 10 of them a day and he would not even be at the half way point. then he would have to eat so much protein and carbs that he would be sick of eating.

guys, 3,200 calorie diet of his is CLEAN BULK, hes eating 500 calories over what he needs to MAINTAIN his weight. eating healthy and packing on the calories is hard to do. healthy foods are low on calories. sure michael felps pack in 10,000 calories a day, but all his foods are JUNK. he trains so much that he needs anything in his body. taylor is different, he needed to bulk up clean and keep his cardio low so it wont rob his muscle mass.

Hmm 3200 calories sounds much better than what Mens Health is claiming.

They state "Goal weight x (workout hours per week + 9.5) = daily number of calories" so with his goal weight of 170 and him working out 4-5 days a week for about an hour each comes to about 2300, a bit low if you ask me. But thats a crappy formula to begin with anyways! You sent a goal of 30 lbs and youll just get fat fast. 10lbs at a time and increase.
