The omnipresent Dalai Lama was interviewed on The Today Show this week where he covered various topics such as politics, lifestyle, Tibetan oppression, spirituality and health.  At the ripe age of 74, the spiritual leader revealed a bit of his personal life to the morning news show.

Considered to be the reincarnation of Budhha, the Dalia Lama wakes up every morning at 3:30 am to do his daily prostrations and confessions which entails vigorous yoga-like postures where one must begin standing in prayer position, lie down flat on the floor as an act of reverence, and then get back up again and repeat the cycle three times.  He then gets some cardio exercise on the treadmill.  Yes, at 74 years of age the Dalia Lama still gets in his daily jog!  He then practices traditional meditation and by 5:30 am it’s time for breakfast and to watch the news. (During the interview he had a nutritious bowl of corn flakes.)

All in all, the Dalia Lama essentially gets in a two-hour workout every morning.  Prostrations offer strength, the treadmill offers cardio support and daily meditation is well-known for maintaining mental health.

Corn Flakes is not nutritious but junk food. Like Rice Krispies, they are laced with sugar, baked at high temperature and high in acrylamide (a carcinogenic potential).

Well,Corn flakes are not the healthiest cereal, but not as covered in sugar as frosted flakes or waffle crisp.

But I do agree that they are not the healthiest cereal.
