Tiffani Thiessen gave birth just four months ago and now she’s determined to get her figure back. The actress is planning to lose at least 20 pounds before she can have another baby.
“It takes some time, but I’m doing my best,” said the actress. “I had a really nice pregnancy. Knock on wood if we have others it’ll be the same.”
The 36-year-old gained 50 pounds while she was pregnant and now she’s planning to lose enough weight to get back to the size she was at the end of 2009. Her first step was to hire a personal trainer and start a workout regime to help her get in shape. Thiessen works out five times a week and her routine includes yoga, Pilates and weight training.
“I was a runner before and I just started running again,” she said. “And I do weight training, yoga and Pilates. I mix it up because I get so bored. I like to do a variety of stuff.”
Although she’s determined to lose weight, the actress hasn’t set a time limit. And what’s more, she advises all new moms not to put pressure on themselves to lose weight, and to take it one step at a time.

“Give yourself a break! Give yourself time,” she said. “They say it takes a year [to get back in shape], and sometimes it does, so don’t stress about it.”
