Tracy Anderson Gives Diet And Exercise Tips

Last week Tracy Anderson, the fitness trainer for Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow, gave some fitness advice to the ladies of Wales about eating properly and getting exercise.  She did start off by saying that anyone could look like Madonna and not by being a gym hog.  Yes Madonna does work out 2 hours a day 6 days a week but Tracy explained that’s because the performer has to be super-fit for the rigorous dance and choreography she does on stage.

What Tracy does explain during the interview though is that women need to have an exercise plan that they are committed to, not just random trips to the gym or jogs around the block.  She said,

“Women confuse their bodies because they’re confused themselves. They go to the gym one day, and running another – you’re never going to get results that way.  Work on your butt and abs for 30 minutes a day and you’ll see the difference – but you have to be committed and you have to apply it.”

Tracy also spoke of her well-researched methods for losing weight, and it’s not about starving yourself but making healthy choices.  She explained,

“I’ve spent 11 years researching this and working out how women with poor economic backgrounds, or who have become mothers, can get their bodies back or change them into something amazing they’ve never been before.”

She then goes on talking about herself, Madonna, Gwyneth and their eating habits.

“None of us diet.  I had bread last night, I had chocolate souffle and Gwyneth and Madonna do too.  The key is just not to eat bread for four days before a photo-shoot, don’t eat processed food and put it this way, we’d never go near fast food.  We prefer green juice, fresh vegetables, fish, rice and lean proteins.”

Tracy ended the interview explaining that by using her methods women will get shapely and sexy figures.

“You don’t have to be super-skinny to be sexy.  You don’t have to be muscular and defined. You can be curvy – but you don’t want cellulite, you don’t want to be dumpy. There’s curvy and there’s sloppy.”
