
Kirsten Gillibrand, a United States senator can once again fit into her Red Tab Levi’s, which she hasn’t been able to wear since before she had children, and she couldn’t be more excited about it.
“On the weekend I love to wear jeans. Every mom likes getting into her old jeans,” she said.
Gillibrand gained a total of 40 pounds; 20 during her first pregnancy in 2004 and another 20 with her second pregnancy in 2008. It was after
her second child stopped breast feeding that she began her life changing diet. It has taken her a year with this diet to get back into shape.
Kirsten Gillibrand’s Diet:
To Drink:
only water (with the exception of a decaffeinated coffee without sweetener)
Breakfast:
a piece of whole wheat toast or oatmeal without sugar
fruit
Lunch:
grilled chicken
steamed vegetables
Dinner:
a piece of lean meat
no dessert
Snacks:
a piece of fruit
yogurt or cheese
Gillibrand makes it a point to stay away from all junk food. She’s only strayed from her strict diet one time and that was after the Congressional Women’s Softball team she captains lost a game, at which time she enjoyed a piece of pizza and some beer with teammates.
Gilliand says that she only exercises one to three times per week due to her schedule.
“My schedule is so busy that a workout is often sacrificed,” says the senetor.
However, she does try to go running on the weekends or play squash with a friend when she has the opportunity to do so. She may also be forgetting that practicing with her softball team twice a week is also a form of exercise.

Geez, is there nothing personal and private? Do we really need to know about her breast feeding? And her 'diet' is not enough to sustain a 5 year old!

she looks great! how ever, she looks like she was 100 pounds over weigh, and by what she is eating it will only take her 2 months 2 lose 40 pounds not a year something is of with the diet, weight and time frame.
