Congrats to Valerie’s boyfriend, Tom, for losing 30 lbs along with Val’s weight loss. I read Val’s book this past winter, started exercising, watching my food intake….and lost 30 lbs, too. My wife says it is easier for guys to lose weight. Maybe, but everyone should try.

I think it is wonderful Valerie has been successful at losing her disired weight. Why is she secretive about her starting weight and present weight. It would be helpful to many of us if she would be more open about the numbers. I am just starting on my weight loss and I presently weight 155. I am 5′2″.
