Veronica Webb: Diet and Exercise

veronica-webb-diet-and-exercise Supermodel and actress Veronica Webb is now 44 years of age, but that didn’t stop her from training for the New York City Marathon in only 12 weeks. She decided to run at the last minute in order to raise money for an AIDS service provider, Harlem United. Before training for the marathon she was still doing a lot of physical activity and exercising. She told Self Magazine what her normal workout entails,

“I love kettlebells, yoga and Capoeira.” [Brazilian martial arts]

When it came to training for the marathon she switched to the Jeff Galloway Run-Walk-Run method; a program that takes you through the weeks leading up to the event where you run and walk your way up to the full length of a marathon. As for her diet she considers herself a ‘consistent’ eater but she allows herself one weekend a month to indulge in whatever she likes. When asked about a typical diet she replied,

“I like Greek yogurt for breakfast. I eat two giant salads a day, a broiled meat or fish, and a dark green vegetable at every meal. I ate a lot more potatoes, brown rice, and lentils while I was training.”

We haven’t see Webb on the big screen for quite sometime. Her last film was the 2006, Dirty Laundry, but these days she is a devoted mother of two daughters.
