Victoria Beckham’s Three-Bite Rule – Great Trick to Enjoy the Holidays

Ok, so we’re a little worried about our weight over the festive season, what with the canapés, champagne, eggnog and turkey stuffing about to be our stable over the next few days. Maybe we should all take weight maintenance advice from Victoria Beckham? Or maybe not…

The former Spice Girl has decided that she will be joining her family, soccer husband David and her three sons, at the Christmas lunch table, but she’ll only be taking three bites of everything. The singer-model-fashion designer wants to enjoy the holidays with the rest of the men in her family, but she doesn’t want to sacrifice her size zero body, which is why she’s devised her new eating plan.

“Victoria is regimental about her food,” a source close to the family to Closer magazine. “There is barely a day when she isn’t controlling and counting calories. But she knows it would be pushing it too far to request steamed turkey or sea bass and vegetables at Christmas dinner.”

The 35-year-old rake has given in to her family’s request for a traditional lunch, but the thought of eating more than three bites of everything on the table (whether it’s turkey, smoked salmon or mince pies) gives her a panic attack.

“Victoria said she was thinking of having a Power Plate machine delivered to her home,” the source continued, “and joked she would be doing squats on it during the queen’s speech to burn off calories before the meal.”

I know Victoria Beckham gets a lot of flack for her extreme diet habits but I find this one quite ingenious. This is a great portion control idea when you’re at a party or some social gathering where you can easily get calorie overload. This way you can have your cake and eat it too, just remember it’s  three bites and you’re out!
