Whitney Port: Weight Loss and Diet

Whitney Port, of MTV reality TV series The Hills fame and intern at Teen Vogue along with Lauren Conrad, reveals she gained “the freshman 25″ while in college at USC (aka University of Spoiled Children or Special Contacts, take your pick). Now 22, Whitney claimed she had “love handles” and has since slimmed down to 115 pounds.

She stays away from carbs, sugar and fried food.

She has been working out with fellow cast member Lauren Conrad under the guidance of trainer Del Bene for the past 2 months. She also engages in long walks and bike rides to keep in shape. Now she says “I’m satisfied with my body. I feel healthy and strong.”

The Hollywood formula for success is really quite simple; cut out the junk food and exercise. No detox diets, no Hoodia, no “Oprah” tea, no colon cleansing…. These are short term gimmicks that will not result in any long term weight loss.

Whitney’s strong will to slim down is really welcoming. I am going to folow her diet and stay away from carbs, sugar and fried food.
